Stamps are a great way to make your own inexpensive gift tags and cards, but the stamps can be kind of expensive. Geninne Zlatkis carves her own stamps, and made this absolutely fascinating video documenting the process. (It looks like she’s done it a million times, her hands are so sure.) It looks like transferring a pattern to the carving material is really easy, and the Mastercarve blocks are pretty cheap - I’m totally going to try this.
